Frontend Developer (f/m/d)

Job description

As we continue to prepare for further growth, we’re looking for an additional frontend developer to join our team.


  • Contribute to Realtainment’s design system by building out and refining reusable UI components

  • Learn and adhere to industry best-practices

  • Contribute to feature tasks, ticket estimations, and team retrospectives

  • Mentor engineers on web technologies and best practices around frontend development

  • Work with tools like Vue, Vue Storefront, Storybook, Storyblok

  • Be a part of the team working to bring scalability and reusability to the design and component creation

Job requirements


  • Aware of general design, software, and UX principles

  • Familiar with JS frameworks, Vue preferred

  • Able to use existing state management and data stores

  • Able to understand and comply with internal documentation and naming conventions

  • Experience using tools like SASS/SCSS/LESS and/or PostCSS.

  • Experience with version control, specifically Git – either in the command line or using a GUI, as well as knowledge of GitHub/Gitlab best practice and workflows.

  • Experience integrating with third-party systems (CMS, analytics, etc.)

  • Experience using RESTful APIs to create dynamic web experiences

  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

  • Bonus: Experience with mono-repos, server-side rendering, or micro front-ends
    Bonus: Has worked with a headless CMS, like Contentful, Storyblok, or similar

  • Bonus: Experience with unit or e2e testing
